The NGS Inspection System
First developed for Stanford University's Historic Main Quad window restoration project the NGS Inspection System consists of trained & licensed building inspectors focusing on surveying and documenting a building’s exterior wood elements. The NGS Inspection System assists the building owner/manager to navigate the complex challenges of identifying and documenting the scope of work required, and offers a comprehensive solution for reducing the risk of poor craftsmanship, unexpected change orders, and bidding inconsistencies.
The NGS Inspection System:
Surveys and documents substrate conditions
Examines repair vs. replacement options
Surveys the condition of existing paint coatings
Provides a specification document on logistics, proper surface prep, & products using the CSI format
Is implemented through building contractors trained and licensed by NGS
